The kids said i'm either 33 or 35 or 40 or something. Remember when you were first aware of your moms age and how OLD it seemed back then? that was when she was 34 for me. it doesn't seem quite as old up here anymore!

When my mom turned 38 (I was 6) I asked how old she was and I thought she said 88. Now, not really having a good age reference I told old my friends she was 88 - I did think it was old, but not THAT old - but when you're 6 older is a GOOD thing, so I thought it was AWESOME. When she turned 39 though I remember being like, but WAIT, I thought you were already 88! Ooops! Yup, it took me a whole year to figure it out. haha.
